Madara Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha clan prior to and after the formation of Konohagakure. After allying with his rival, Hashirama Senju, he also helped to found Konohagakure. During the fourth great Ninja War he was resurrected and took part in the war and later regain his true body for the sealing of the ten tailed beast which he used in his end goal to cast the infinite tsukuyomi on the world in a attempt to unite everyone under his genjutsu.
