Herja and Hildr were two sisters who resided in a land called Valhalla. Herja was intensely protective of Hildr, so when Hildr’s love with a lady named Reginleif was found out, Herja forbade their love. This angered Reginleif, who kidnapped Hildr in a flurry of passion. Herja searched for Hildr, but upon finding her, also found Reginleif awaiting with an army. They engaged in a battle known as the Battle of Voluspa, fighting until Ragnarök.
