- Description: he had brought her a gift on the day of his departure, a fluffy ginger kitten "so that you won't be alone" he had said. he was only to be gone a month, but when his crew returned they had told her he had been lost at sea, that a wicked storm had caused him to be cast overboard, they had believed him dead. she alone held out hope that one day he would return to her, and she has stood waiting everyday since.
