Just as the Treacle Wells and Springs were thought to hold healing properties, so was this young maiden.
It is said that with a single kiss upon the cheek, sickness can be remedied.
With a brush of her hand against the forehead, poisons could be cleared from the body.
And with a brush of her eyelashes, lesions and burns would heal over.
The sick would try and seek her out, but to no avail.
People began thinking of her as nothing more than a mythical creature.
