He walked over and touched its throat soothing its breathing. He notices it is a small baby. He lifts it up and whispers to it in the language of the Earth "be still, sleep," A few hours later it woke and latched onto his leg. Again he spoke in the language of the Earth "I will let be my companion but when I must leave you have to let go.....
