Saria is a Kokiri girl who befriends Link in his childhood in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. They soon become very close friends, and cannot bear to part each other. But when that fateful day comes, Saria gives him the Fairy Ocarina as a token of their friendship. Saria is also becomes the Forest Sage, and aids Link on his quest against evil.
