When Zordon chose the five socially diverse teens , Jason Lee Scott, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan and Billy Cranston, he gave them the ability to morph into Power Rangers and control large robotic dinosaurs called Zords, which can combine into the Megazord and use it to protect the earth from the evil Rita Repulsa and her goons.
