He does not follow Lucifer, so he is not a demon; rather than endure hell, Azazel was to be bound in a canyon until Judgment day. By divine miracle, he has escaped his imprisonment and physical bonded with a boy. Armed with holy armor and a flaming sword of vengeance (memories from his past life), he seeks revenge against the maker.
