All my life, I have been haunted by a nightmare. It is an unknowable and unstoppable beast.
He does not chase me, he destroys the dream world around me. He is unaffected by physics, anything he touches crumbles before him. He is unbelievably fast. He tears through my dreamscapes, rending them to rubble, dust swirling into a formless void, and then he turns to me. I see glimpse an intense eye, very briefly, and then awaken. At last.
