- Description: The first of a long line of Portugese pirates. Jao Samuel pillaged the shored of Spain and Italy, all to bring wealth to his fair land Portugal. He had three sons and two darling daughters when he visited Japan , and also "Visited" their empress. His children left their mother to become great pirate legends like her father, These childern later helped found tortuga as the stronghold of pirates.
