- Description: As the leaves on the oaks turn their warm color of orange and the cool air has sent in I know it has arrived. This is the season I love most, when I can put on my sun hat, get my basket, put on my boots and head out. This is the season when I prepare for the harsh winter to come but am also able to celebrate. The harvest is upon us, so we must celebrate. Either to be thankful, or for the hope that the winter will not kill any of us.
