Description:
The Saiou Dai is a single woman from Kyoto, she will wear a make up and Juunihitoe (12 layer Kimono). After being purified on the Shrine before the Aoi Matsuri parade, she will be taken to Kyoto Castle and the join the parade. It is said that this festival was originated to pray for stopping the plague spreading and to wish for good harvest.
I did my best, could not find a fan, or eyes that were good enough. Also I can't afford the background I want. - Date: 12/16/2011
