Many Swiss (and other Europeans) rather believe that the "Christkind" delivers presents on the 24th than Santa Claus on the 25th. So when I was a young girl I believed in an shy angel-like being, sneaking in on the 24th, eating our home-made Cookies and putting the presents under our tree while me and my sister were taken for a stroll with dad (because the Christkind wasn't afraid of moms :D).
