She was baited out of her house night of Christmas eve and taken to the forest. The perpetrator violated her, she screamed and screamed no one came to her aid. She was barely alive and broken staring into the sky. When he was done, he took her eyes as a trophy. He buried her in snow.She was found in the spring.
Every time, winter happens in the forest, she appears looking for her eyes. to glaze into the sky.

- Good try, but the description could use less shock value and a little more focus. Avi sells the look of ghost left to freeze/bleed to death in the snow.
