    A mass of contradictions I am caught somewhere between the past and the future - A geek girl, who loves console gaming (Nintendo fangirl from way back - remember the NES?), lives on the interwebs and is sure her Eee PC (running Linux, of course) is about to become fused to her body any day now. And at the same time I dream of living in a romanticized Victorian world and can often be found curled up reading Victorian literature. <br />

    I have an interest in politics, philosophy and history. And am particularly interested in those mostly ignored by typical histories - I'm less interested in the famous faces of history than I am in the unknown, the 'ordinary' people who just went about living their lives as best they could.
