My mother named me Ashton M. It was either that or Heather<br />
I hated my name my whole childhood, everyone thought it was a boys name and people still don’t know how to pronounce it , <br />
confuse it with ‘ashley’ or always relate it back to Ashton Kutcher. But I learned to love my name - <br />
The whole thing. I asked my mother why the hell she named me ashton and she said ” <br />
I named you Ashton after the name of a character in a movie I saw when I was younger. <br />
The girl’s name was Ashton and she killed her whole family.”<br />
