• PART 3

    (a short one this time)

Celia lay awake in bed, the moon shining through the curtains. She hadn’t been able to get to sleep with everything that had happened through the past few days. Suddenly her door creaked open and someone slipped inside. Celia couldn’t make out the figure in this darkness but it looked like a man, the only thing she could make out were a pair of horrifying blood red glowing eyes. She raised an eyebrow and reached for her light switch, but the man was suddenly there and he smacked her hand away, she was about to say something but a hand clamped down over her mouth, she gave a muffled cry and struggled to break free, but the man ignored her. Still keeping his hand clamped over the girls mouth, the man dipped his free hand onto his pocket and produced something, a syringe. Celia could just make it out, her eyes widened and she tried to scream but it was only muffled, she tried to reach her hands up, but the man suddenly stared at her, his red glowing eyes boring into her emerald green, and as she stared, she tried to move, but she couldn’t. She tried hard, but her muscles wouldn’t budge. Then the man stuck the tip of the syringe into her forearm, he thumbed the plunger and pushed down on it, forcing all the liquid into the girls system, and she lay very still, as the darkness overcame her.
X smirked to himself and pulled the syringe from the Childs arm. This had been easy, easy as pie. He had none people to lunge out when he knocked them out, and put up a real fight, but a child? He wasn’t even surprised, the paralization had worked his magic within less then a millisecond, perfect, weakling… he put the empty syringe back into his pocket and very slowly lifted up the child’s body. Light as a feather, hardly even that to him. He then waved one of his hands at the wardrobe door, and something appeared on it. He smiled. Lets see what Rayos would make of that then and he then walked over to the window and with one arm cradling the girl, he opened the window and climbed onto the sill – he used both hands to carry the girl now – and jumped. No, he didn’t have wings; he would spit at the thought, retched angels, pah! They fell heavily but x quickly twisted his body and he landed lightly on his feet. He then took a deep breath and started running, his pace quickened and quickened until he was running so fast that to others he would just be a slight blur that would last less then a millisecond to the human eye. He was the best at this, he didn’t care what the master thought, he was the best. his master would be pleased. He was stealing this child right from under the angels nose, this way he would have to come to the lair, he had no choice.

Celia’s eyes flickered open and she found herself staring at metal. She tried to sit up but then a headache hit her, she groaned and lay back down. Were, was she? “You’ll have that pain for a while.” A voice said, “I’d get used to it.” Celia turned her head to side and faced the bars “that’s right.” The voice said “your laying in a cadge.” Celia peered through the bars, her vision clearing. A man was sitting on a chair watching her, his arms folded over his chest. She groaned again and looked around. They were in a vast cavern that was dimly lit.
“Were, am I?” she said slowly, her toung heavy. The man smirked a little.
“Why don’t you try figure it out? Bet you’ll never get it.” She blinked a couple of times and studied the man more carefully. He was wearing a long black leather coat, black shirt, and black trousers with black shoes. Everything black, including his spiky hair except for a blood red handkerchief in his Brest pocket and…his red glowing eyes. Celia gasped.
“You’re the one that drugged me!” he smiled thinly, and then Celia suddenly jerked up, ignoring the headache. “Where’s Rayos?” the man smile turned to a leer and he leaned forward in his chair.
“Rayos aint here.” He said “but he will be soon, as soon as he notices you’re gone. See that there?” he pointed to a huge net hanging from that ceiling of the cavern and a cadge next to it. “that there is for Rayos, your bait meh darling.” Celia stared at him “that’s right.” He said “but if you breath a word to him when and if he arrives, you’ll be getting a taste, if not a mouthful…of this.” he picked up a staff that he been laying behind the chair.
“what is it?” Celia asked softly, x raised an eyebrow.
“you really wanna find out? Well, if you insist.” He pointed the staff at her and waves it in a small circle. Immediately a bolt of black lighting sped out and hit Celia who screamed a fell back as immense pain screamed its way slowly through her body. She curled up into a tight ball on her side, hugging her knees into her chest. Then the pain ceased and she gasped for breath. Her vision had gone weird and she stared up at x through blurred eyes “so.” he said “do you’ comprenday’?” she nodded
