• Just so you know, we thought all hope is lost by the time Shinon sided with us after finding him, but surprisingly, we had a warm welcome from a team of Gaians that came into the ruined city. We have no idea who they are, but they were commanded by someone in which he calls Raymond Findley. Sounds like there's hope after all.... but I have no idea about Megumi, who is still searching for her older sister.

[all six of us are making our way into the small alleyway and back out to find more legions of undead]

    Soren Whisperwind: Damn, they're everywhere!

Baruch van Austins: We'll have to escape the hard way!

Megumi Tekarukite: [realizing what Baruch actually means] We'll never slaughter them all at once. They might simply revive and tear us all into pieces.

Me: There has to be artillery around here.

Soren Whisperwind: There IS no artillery, Dave. We're gonna have to fight them the hard way. We have no choice but to risk it all. At least one of us will make it alive.

Shinon Stormrage: [aims his bow and arrow at the approaching animated] We're all going to! You said it yourself; as long as we all stick together, none of us will die. Besides, we can do this without artillery.

Noriko Sanban: [rock armor RR4] I agree. Just look at the zombies; they don't even look so tough.

Soren Whisperwind: [pauses for a moment] I guess you're right, Shinon.

    Me: [pulls out guns]

    Soren Whisperwind: Get ready, people!

[the animated are approaching too closely]

    Soren Whisperwind: Fire!

[all of us open fire at the animated and undead, but the more we kill them, the more they rose from their deaths]

Me: Great, they're not even affected!

    [we were trapped]

Baruch van Austins: [bombards the group of enemies with water balloon] I guess that means---

[gunfire in the distance. We all notice a group of Gaian soldiers coming to rescue us]

    Megumi Tekarukite: Are those soldiers?

    Me: HEY! OVER HERE!

[the undead may have been gunned down, but only a few perish as the rest rise to their feet]

    "Survivors!"

    "Let's help them out!"

[more gunfire. The rest of us resume fighting the undead. We all felt liberated]

Baruch van Austins: Alright, we're saved!

    "Are you guys alright?"

Soren Whisperwind: Yeah. We were trying to find a way to evacuate since we recently escaped from Barton Town... [looks at me and Baruch] Well, me and those two. [points to me and Baruch] Besides we only found these three in this ruined place... [points to Megumi, Noriko, and Shinon]

"Well, we received word about the undead legion moving in and besieging several different places nationwide, so we were sent in to look for any missing survivors."

Soren Whisperwind: Where is your leader, then?

    [tortured roar]

Baruch van Austins: Great, I think they're back.

    "Quick, let's go!"

[gunfire and swords clashing at the abominations and animated. Sometime later, the six of us come across jeeps and large vans.... and a grown man wearing green who appears to be in his early to mid-30s]

Raymond Findley: [he appears to be commanding these infantry] Alright, men! These animated forces will not push out at us any longer! Move out!

[the troops settle out in the towns as Raymond notices us]

Raymond Findley: [approaching us] You guys are the survivors, huh?

Soren Whisperwind: Yes, thanks for coming to our aid.

Raymond Findley: No problem. We received word that Barton was sieged along with several other places. Are you guys alright?

Soren Whisperwind: We're fine. My crew and I were trying to look for any survivors around here before we can evacuate successfully.

Megumi Tekarukite: My older sister is still missing! I was wondering if you've seen her?

Raymond Findley: What does she look like?

Megumi Tekarukite: [shows him a picture]

Raymond Findley: Hmmm.... I'll inform my men about this. Until then, I'll ask one of my elite officers to take you back to the base camp. If we see her, we'll be glad to take her back.

Megumi Tekarukite: I owe you thanks. We all owe you our lives.

Raymond Findley: It was nothing, really.

[the six of us enter a large jeep, where we were departing shortly]
