You've always stood before me, always won all the attention.
And when you're in celebration, I'm in isolatation.
I can't stand the way you treat me, like I'm not good enough.
But you have no idea, that life can be so tough.
I don't understand, can't comprehend, your point of view.
And I can't quite understand, why there can't be a special two.
There's only one that can stand on the pedestal,
only one who can be treated diferently...
but "differently" can mean so many things......

- I agree with Lord Aubrey, this does seem more structured as lyrics than a poem, but considering the section it's in is "Poetry/Lyrics" I'll grade it as such. ^^ Good Job, hun. I give it a 5 ^^

- Are these song lyrics, cause they sound more like a song than a poem. Poetically, I don't much like it, but I think that it would do well as lyrics.
