• Deadly Thoughts

    we all know how it feels to be alive
    but how does it feel to be dead?
    how does it feel to live underground
    not breathing
    or moving your head?

    people say it's relaxing
    people say it's rough
    everytime i hear them say
    "it makes me cough
    because i feel like when i die
    it would be the same
    i'd be buried or burned in every way"

    and when i
    go to a grave
    i look at the stone
    it says "RIP Dave"
    or some other name
    and i don't feel pain...

    but now i think
    should i keep walking
    through this depressing place
    and pass by the names
    that are written on these plates?

    another question was
    "how will i die?"
    a very common question
    that's been used as lies
    people think
    ' gunshot, drowned,
    car crash, found
    and beat to death'

    but what i think
    i would die
    in the year 2020
    but it's all a lie

    i would love to die young
    where i can't grow old
    and long to wish
    that i died cold
    in a wasteland
    not far from home

    but after you're done thinking about this
    your thought is strong
    enough to tear you apart
    and you walk along


    into the street...
