Sighing, dying, lying to myself
Hiding, pretending, and showing no fear
Having parents who drink and yell
Having friends who, cry and dwell
Wanting, yearning, gasping for air
Do you see me?
Do you hear me?
Thats all i want to know!
I need it, want it, yearn for it.
You know i'm here, And i see you there,
Floating out in the open
Come to me
PLEASE!
Come to me
Three simple words hold so much weight
Reassuring, assisting, giving everyone a boost
They don't know what goes on inside but see pure happiness on the out
Mask, rubber, smiles, grades and me
All fake on the outside
Dare I spill my insides out
Sobbing, Crying , Sobbing, Crying, Sobbing, Crying!!!!
Yelling, Screaming, Yelling, Screaming, Yelling, Screaming!!!!!
Loud roars of pain and sorrow now you hear me don't you? DON'T YOU??
Feel my pain you made it! Feel my sorrow you encased it!
Feel the intensity of it! Realize it!
Thats the least you can do.
After all both of you are the reason why I keep this closed up.
But, the two of you will truly never know what's here inside me.......

there is too much pain in this poem to be celebrated or appraised.
now im not saying that i hate it just that i better be careful with my words.
the poem is very freestyle and aggressive.
there is too much anger and fear.
what this poem needs is a little change in attitude.
where is the hope??
thats it.
its a good poem but without hope what is it good for??
