For months, I was diagnosed with cancer.
The doctor told me that I am so ill,
My life won’t last a month or two longer.
And so, to the world, I leave my last will.
My clothes I shall give to homeless orphans;
To the Church I leave a fourth of my wealth.
I shall leave all my functioning organs
To patients with deteriorating health.
To my friends I shall give my collection.
Some fortune to my sisters I shall leave.
To my parents I leave my affection;
My house and some money they shall receive.
And my heart I leave to a special man
That can make it beat like no one else can.

Description:
A sonnet I made my sophomore year. It's not the best, but I love the last lines. I most especially love the last lines.
Constructive criticisms are highly appreciated. Poems are not my best area, but I do want to improve ^.^ - Date: 07/17/2008
