Pass each day by crowds of people
those of beauty who love each other
never to take silent note of her
or the disease that drowns her soul.
Pass each day by the mirror
to see the empty sadness linger
in reflection staring back at her
to see depression living there.
Pass each day through trials of life
carrying her burden and her strife
a wish that they will some day see
the girl that never was to be.

- Title: The Girl that Never Was to Be
- Artist: Edward the Beloved
- Description: This is a slightly more recent poem. Written in March 2008. x3 I think. I don't have a lot to say about this. I really wanted something to do with looking into a mirror... because I always hated looking in the mirror... extreme self-hate. I wanted that to show. But that ended up being my least favorite part of this poem. x3 -- http://edward-the-beloved.deviantart.com/
