• They always say it gets better with age,
    But I'm still waiting for it to ripen.
    They always say I'm a child, I don't know;
    But my god how they are mistaken.

    I'm slowly dancing and picking up rhythm,
    I'm finding the motion that I need.
    Each person is so unique and different,
    Why would I ever want to be the same?
    People so caught up, blissfully unaware.
    Too bad they just don't see this world,
    The one that we all share.

    So I pivot and break,
    My feet pause as the song changes.
    Why dance to only one song?
    Let's dance these new stages;
    Building up new rhythm to move through the ages.
