    Staring at the moonlit sky
    Nothing to look forward to
    Nothing to look back to
    Just the dark sky above us

    I wonder if you're looking at it too
    It's like we're staring at each other
    Just from a very faraway place
    where we both can't meet

    The moonlight shines so bright
    It illuminates the darkened road ahead
    So I can see the path I take to get to you
    Without turning back, I keep running

    I'm searching for you while the moonlight shines above me
    Like an angel, it carefully watches me
    Leading the way
    Telling me where to go

    I keep running, without stopping
    I search for you in the road ahead
    I want to see you
    And I want you to see me

    Will we ever meet?
    And if so how?
    The moonlit path that leads the way
    But, it's my choice to follow

    Why do I follow it?
    The moonlit path that shines so bright
    Where many broken hearts have been trampled
    All of them crushed to the ground

    But still I continue to run
    Going faster and faster
    Feeling as though time is running out
    For me to see you

    So with the moonlight by my side
    I run and run never taking me eys off the road
    And then I finally see you
    And you turned around and you see me

    I smile at you
    And you smile at me
    Then you finally whisper the words
    "I love you"

    So under the moonlit sky
    Two lovers meet from distant places
    Guided by their hearts
    Guided by the moonlight
