    And I don’t really giggle that much
    I’d rather laugh really loud
    And stand up straight, strong and proud
    I’m a bit full of myself
    And I rarely need people’s help
    I’m wild in a not-so-cute way
    But I wouldn’t trade this me for any other any day

    Just one problem…
    I’m not “girlfriend” material
    Guess I’m too tomboyish for that
    I’m not “damsel-in-distress” material
    And the boys can’t handle that
    Wish I could be less intimidating
    Cause it’s fun to be single, but I’d rather be dating
    And no one wants to ask out the girl
    Who prefers black studded belts to pearls
    But I won’t change for them!

    I’m not ticklish in the least
    And I don’t pray for my jean size to decrease
    I may be blonde but I really hate pink
    And it sure doesn’t mean that I can’t think
    I love music and I love to dance
    I’d like a boy who doesn’t care about “romance”
    Cause I don’t do all that cutesy stuff
    I’m too independent to be tied down by love
