Life has its ups
Life has its downs
The peaks, the valleys
The smiles, the frowns

To appreciate the sun
We must weather the rain
Life’s not all pleasure
But it’s not all pain

We all hurt
At times it’s true
I try my best
Not to hurt you

I’m strong, I’m weak
I’m happy, I’m sad
Sometimes things are rough
Yes, sometimes I get mad

I’ve never claimed to be perfect
None of us are, you see
I can just be Ann
Accept me for me

I will keep trying
With each new day
To bring many smiles
And happiness your way

It was good, but I think that this poem would have done well if it hadn't rhymed. A little cliched, but great nontheless.

omg i absolutely loved it im so adding to my favourites most poems i read are not ryming and when they are there not good but this was it was simple it was catchy i loved it,your a credit to all poets well done
