Have any of you heard of the terms jargon or vernacular? It's possible that she wanted her poem to reflect her way of speaking. I do admit that there are punctuation errors and spelling errors but do not automatically assume that the girl is illerate.
For example, I was born and still reside in the islands and when I am around my fellow islanders I speak the way we are accustomed to speaking. So words like "cuz" and "dis" are very natural. Next I would point out that "ghetto" people or those t
