Light in my Darkness

I am nothing but the resurrection of darkness
Yet you showed me the light with you kindness
I don't know how this ever happened
But i know i will never be weakened
As long as your on my side
No matter how hard we fight the endless tide
My heart belongs to you
We are now one when we used to be two
When you're cold
I hope to warm you in my hold
Like an artist to his art
You are to my heart
If you ever did leave me
The darkness would soon claim me
Even though the darkness' hold is tight
The only thing that can fight it is your light
