Nightmare

• Description: I've been posting some of my pictures on here so I thought I'd post a couple of poems as well. Not sure if it's really worth stealing...but please don't steal my work. Also bit of warning my poems are pretty dark and no that doesn't mean I've been through this kind of thing or that I'm disturbed. I just have a dark imagination that's all and I'm better at writing poems that are dark or sad for some reason...not sure why.

A small whisper
Cries of terror
I shake and shiver
Cold steel binds me
Worn cloth gags me
Can't scream
Can't run
A dream
Has to be a dream
A nightmare

A silhouette
A dark figure
Coming near
Creeping moonlight
Revealing fear
A silver blade
Slashing, tearing
Scarlet ribbons
Twisting, flowing
Crimson rain
Hours and hours
Stabbing pain
Shattering screams
Praying, pleading
Please, please
Be only a dream
A nightmare

dark? i would say not. Elegant? i would say yes. it is no darker than what else is on here, but it flows a lot better and creates better images. i like it a lot.
