• A daily occurrence, casual, so known,
Words to paper, tossed, decided, now thrown,
Every thought, every word, every line, every lie,
They take reality, distort, manipulate, to question, they try,
I have seen, and I have read,
I've in everything that they had once said,
A date, a title, a name often seen,
Of all that was once was, all that has been,
Notes, opinion, discussion of ones own mind,
Passed on through his own, to others of his kind,
Where is the truth in this.

On screens, of beams, once only a cast,
    Tomorrow forgotten, disregarded, without last,
The world around, a fight, a fire,
A passion of war, an unceasing desire,
The youth are here, they witness your strife,
Breathlessly waiting, And of you to take life,
Where is the truth in this.

You see, this is to me,
I am but one, I am one son,
I know it, I've seen it, I've heard it, and thought it,.. it all,
And I ask of daily forgiveness that your ambitions would fall.
Verbal defecation, Have you nothing to tell for,
Do you only hand the millions, that which they'd want more,
Where is the truth in this.

I'd ask you once more, I'd say it again,
But I am only one to you, one amoungst all men,
It would take all our voices, to say what you need heard,
    I'd whisper you, I'd shout,
But you've left me with no trust, all doubt,
I say it once more, asking for your ears,
Let's help that which will for it, let's dry the worlds tear's,
And I ask of you, you are the hearer,
I need it known to you, made ever clearer,
Where, Where is the truth in this.
