• Jealous angel sits in the shade, watching life unsure, yet unafraid.
Where does he fit? What is there to do?
Society isn't made for genderless youth.

Jealous angel watching life unfold, questions all that he has been told.
How do they know? What is their proof?
Why does it matter, the gender of this youth?

I'm tired of being this jealous angel,
I just want to be what I want to be.

Deep inside, the person I Hide, is dying to be free.
I can't live with what it is, that they are telling me, I have to be.
    Who is this she?

    I don't believe in black & white.
The world I live in is not made up of wrong or right.
So you go your way & I'll go mine.

I think that things will turn out just fine.
This is my life, my soul, My Problem.
My choices aren't up for debate.
I'm not an interactive doll you can pick up and put away.

My life is for me not for you.
I follow my heart, the brain can be deceived.
I don't want to be a credit to, some ideal no one can see or feel.

I live based on my truths, stopped clinging to ideals of youth.
The world is not perfect; people are flawed.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

Perfection is basic, bland, and boring.
Stray away from the sheep. Take a look and see what there is to see.
I won't be lead to a slaughter, I will ask questions, I expect the truth.

Life isn't perfect, we don't get to choose; Someone went and changed the rules, damn, I missed it.
Late again, must be the foul mood I'm in.
I can't fit what's been given with the Idea of who I always thought I would be.

why are you telling me I'm not free to be me?
    Why am I letting you?
Fool me once shame on thee; Fool me twice, shame on me.

Jealous Angel finds his voice and spreads his wings.
He thinks it's time for a change of scene.
I am what I am, these are my hard, fast, truths.

I won't be a victim of this youth.
