Hidden by the with curtain.
Lights flickering overhead.
Yes, It's a hospital.
The people are kind, the environment is not.
Heat seeking needles, with a bounty on your arm.
Holding pain and numbness
Waiting to seep into your body
Scalpels to slice you open
Stitches to hide the pain
And bandages to cover it up
Blue and white pictures reveal what's inside of you
No secrets can be kept from that vicious blue
Not what you eat
Or do
But they can make you tell them
Wealth is a factor here
The poor aren't treated
The rich are given suites
That's where "the world isn't always fair comes in"
I am saying good-bye
As I am being injected
I hope I wake up...
