    Why do people search for the light?

    Do they seek the warmth, or the glow?

    I will never search for the light, for within every candle there it a fire that burns our souls to ashes.

    Within every candle there are the shadows made by that light.
    So why do people search for the light?

    For the pretence of good in their dark lives.





    We are afraid of the dark.

    We fear the things living in it.

    Though, we make up the stories of monsters for we don’t want them to know.

    We call them monsters, simply because some people do not deserve to be call humans.

    We fear ourselves.


    Why do people fear the skies?

    The height, the power that they represent fills many with awe.

    No, it is the moment standing at the edge, the possibility.

    They do not fear the heights.

    They fear the falling that comes from being thrown off the edge back down to the world.

    Sometimes no one is there to throw them over.

    What does that mean?

    Simple, we all fear that we will break, and one way or another it will bring us the fall that will end us and we will have no one to blame but ourselves.

    I will wait for this day.

    It is not the fear of falling in love.

    It is the fear of falling and the one you fall for will not care to catch you.

    You are afraid of the hit that will shatter you, and that one you fell for will not pick up the broken pieces.

    We fear the one we fall in love with.
