Notes as sweet as sugar cane
Trill through the night in soft refrain
They lure the hunter to his doom
Where death awaits encased in gloom
A beauty fair as fair can be
More lovely than is wise to see
She smiles gently from her glade
In shadows that the night has made
Her eyes alight with boundless joy
Their shine a slyly crafted ploy
Behind the beauty lurks the beast
Hungry for its hellish feast
Her perfect skin is cool to touch
Take heed that you don't care too much
For 'ere this fateful night is through
This maid so fair shall dine on you.
