Love, violence, emotional wreckage;
A personal prison leaves you alone begging for freedom.
It’s a him urging the bars to be to be put up and a her, a hurt that puts them up
Don’t be alone; don’t stay alone in the darkness behind the bars.
Blinking, slowly reaching for the light an endless plight alone but not alone
A hand to hold a body to engulf, a personal person to make sure your bars never weaken
You’ll stay there, here
In love, in hurt, in twisted forgiveness
Because of an unending need for a smile and laughter to shine off of someone else
And you want so bad to reach reach reach out
But the only ones that need the help take your arm in a twist
And seduce the energy from your body
A wretched soul is left leaking naught but cold air
Wanting naught but to stay in such a prison, stay forever
You deserve better, but what really changes?
What changes are there without the change you need to make but are unwilling to?
Its not his fault you cant runaway
It is your own compassion keeping you behind the bones
Keeping you within the flesh
Keeping you weeping
Oh…Oh…
You
It is your failure to help
Your failure of not being careful enough.
You let the vampires rage rampant across your naked body and open eyes!
Your prison is your love
Your prison is your end.

Description:
About a year ago in Prison lit. class at an alternative school I attended for a brief part of my life we were told to do a free write about a personal prison. This is what I wrote, and keep in mind it was a free write. I like it a little messy so I havent really tweeked it.
I hope you enjoy. - Date: 11/28/2008
