-
some stifled a laugh of silent rage
some blew their tears across this stage
much more than kids at play
My heart collided with my mind
I rejoice the pain I felt inside
For I won't have to hide
My town I love is growing cold
the things I do are growing old
the ethereal bell hath tolled
The streams of life that part my face
soon I'll be a stranger in a strange new place
still searching for that one warm embrace
relations, revelations, a musical sigh
the long-awaited feelings, the cry
I couldn't see you, because I
felt something I needed all
along to feel human to feel
strong not a song but just
heart pain.
