i turn way from u
i cant turn away from the pain
my heart exploded so long ago,
im surprised i can feel the hurt.

the tears run down my cheek
and before i can wipe them away
you see,
and you laugh.

i wont be over it so soon
since youve found some one else
and already,
i've had those dark thoughts.

the black rose sits on my welcome mat
although its not welcome
so i guess you saw,
the dozen black roses that i left you.

this war is not being fought
but you are winning
how is this possible,
because i already surrendered.

you say you are in control
but how can i lose
how can you win,
in a war im not in?

thnx 4 the nice comments guyz. im glad you like considering it took 1 minute 2 rite and i wrote it while i wa crying. that normally has some effect on the quality of my work.

this was a wonderful poem that has a lot of passion in it. i love it because you didn't even bother rhyming, which made it even better because the words still worked together well. as a small tip for the future, perhaps you could make them a little longer, and add a few more details! ^^ GOOD JOB!!!
