-
Sitting in a cold, dark room,
Watching the snow drift slowly down,
From the sky,
I think of you,
And then I think of the day,
You left me,
To fend for myself,
Weak and defenseless,
Yes,
That was me,
But that was the past,
I must look ahead,
Must the past,
Be so different?
But that winter night changed me,
For the best,
And for the worst,
I wish to stay by your side,
But what separated me from you was,
One lonely winter.
