• Two Worlds

    Two worlds meet,

    Both with good intentions,

One with future plans, and one heading nowhere,

Forming bonds of friendship, loyalty, and love,

They had sworn to be there when the other needed most.

Over years they kept it, no problems, not one,

Jealousy had entered, changing for the worse,

    Causing space, strain, and stress,

    Causing obsession, and disagreement.

Which led to fights, fights led to wars,

When all had subsided, it left one seem unharmed,

It’s culture, and deadly beauty still intact,

    While the other suffered dearly,

It’s atmosphere, inhabitants, and soul brutally murdered.

    Never to recover, nor trust,

    Wondering what went wrong,

Hopelessly, it watches as its past ally takes up another,

It thinks, wishing for that feeling,

When the two worlds had met.
