I want my teddy to hug back,
I want to be the hope you lack.
Just once,
I want to be happy,
Truly happy.
And for once,
I wanna read “Once upon a time”
Without wanting to cry.
I want to see “happily ever after”
Without knowing it’s a lie.
Once, just once,
I want to be in your arms and feel safe.
I want you to be my only escape.
For one time,
I want to love,
Without worrying about falling.
I want to hear you calling.
Calling my name.
Just once,
I want you to be there.
And just once,
I want you to really care.
