• The last time I saw
    The remnants of my childhood
    I recall a blurry feeling
Somewhere in the abyss that is my mind
    Hazy memories
Of a castle in the air
    Some euphoria in the sky
With the fear of the nostalgia sucking me in
    I look back on
    My beautiful and enchanting imagination
The world I saw through my eyes
    Thinking of those silent days
When the heavens were crying tears of joy
Or the sun flooding the world in a glow
Reminds me of the rapturous wishes and dreams
As numerous at the night sky
    Those treasures
    I still hold dear
    If not closer to me
    But
    My line of vision
    Between reality and fantasy
Are as blurry as those memories
    The last time I saw
    My castle in the air
Was in my past, present, and future
    I will hold them closely
And let them hold me up a little longer
So I can retrieve the stars in the sky
That were once upon a time
    My dreams and inspirations.
