• Lightning McQueen a hot-shot racing car,
    Didn’t care about anyone but himself,
    Hew blew his tires and didn’t get far,
    In attempt to put the Piston Cup on his shelf.

    While being transported to the next race location,
    Lightning slid out of the truck,
    He wasn’t planning a rural vacation,
    But Radiator Springs is where he was now stuck.

    At first the locals detested Lightning’s Presence,
    As he caused a lot of damage and grief,
    He initially treated them like peasants,
    But Lightning had turned over a new leaf.

    He eventually arrived weeks later; but soon lost the race,
    However he had made new friends; and that was as good as first place.
