• Prayer

    As I watch this light fade away,

    The darkness comes out to play.

    I will sit down,

    In the darkest corner,

    And say:

    "Though she has gone and left,

    The memories we have will continue to stay."

    As I say these words,

    I will cry,

    Cup my hands together,

    And pray:

    "Father, Son, Holy, Spirit,

    Jesus Christ,

    Thy Lord and thy savior,

    Please, I beg,

    Bore me Courage to fight,

    And suppress my aching soul.

    Bore me Strength to carry on,

    My troubles and my pains,

    Last but not least,

    Lord bore me the Power of Time,

    So that I may stitch the thousand pieces,

    Of my shattered heart back together,

    And live on my life,

    Day-by-day.

    Amen."

    After praying and crying,

    I will listen to the angels play,

    As my eyes close upon,

    This bed I lay
