• On Time And Love
    By: Carmen Corbett

It seems to some that you've been here too long,
Although the stay seemed too terse for me,
The clock must be set so exceedingly wrong,
For how could I endure a day without thee?
Without two parts there is no whole,
Still the hands on the clock of life keep strolling,
I stop feeling without you and your soul,
But come what may, for you, my heart keeps calling.
We've endured all from the thick to the thin,
So now I ask why this time should be different.
And if the hourglass runs out for you then,
Over thee I shall be invariably bent.
If time causes you to fade away,
With you in Pluto I too shall stay.
