I trip, I stumble, does this have an Ending?
Cruel Winds blinding my path and Claws at my back
Burden upon Burden, Darkness following
No Hope remaining now, lured on by Death Black
Beaten and bruised. Turned away from the Light,
Forsaken but not forgotten, Light pursues
searching for Hope, a never-ending Flight.
Should I really give in? What is there to Lose?
My Support gives way, last Foundation collapse
I can’t save myself. No one will heal these Scars
Enclosed by Darkness, final Ending, perhaps.
disowned by Light, trapped by Death, look to the Stars.
Creeping Shadows soothe my pain. Death alluring.
After the Dark, now comes the Cold, enduring.

- Title: After the dark
- Artist: raphael of tmnt
- Description: The real title is 'After the Dark, Now comes the Cold.' Mmkay, so this is my seventh poem to be submitted here, but my second submission. Random compliments will be the death of me, but i think i'll manage somehow. ^^;; This poem is a bit darker and the image for this poem is a bit more obvious. If you picture a girl truding through the snow, cold, alone and hugging herself for warmth, you'll get what i had.
