My Book

Opening the pages of the book
i find a world of confusion.
What are these words i've never heard?
I'm trapped with my frustration.

Help me please!
I can't put together this mess
I don't understand this
it's like a hopeless game of chess.

I look for these words in a dictionary
but i can't seem to find them anywhere.
My head hurts so badly
i run my fingers through my hair.

I cry and rock, back and forth,
scrunched up on the floor.
I've knocked three times
but no one will open up the door.

Please someone, anyone
reach out you hand
and maybe with your help
i could finally stand.

Nobody will help me read this book
No one's on my team
I just can't take this anymore
I cry, I shake, I scream.

Are you walking to me?
Is it at me that you look?
Haha! It is!
You bend over and shut my book.

I'm not going to lie to you, I lost my train of tought towards the 2 stansa(SP) I was creating the image of a person not realizing it was a misconception all along. Way to keep your readers in a daze. To quote "about my life" I see the ending as death, real suttle(SP) approach there, I agree with Nochs, it was quite unexpected. Nicely written.
