Our minds have become open,
and the contaminants of each mingle
as smoke over water and oil
The poison isn't bitter, nor quick to kill
With our thoughts laid bare, we are frightened
and exhilarated by what we see,
and do not yet realize that this is forbidden ground
That if we continue as we are,
the different colors will eventually
blend and become one
There will be only one,
and no memory of "separate"

Description:
I was thinking of myself and my boyfriend at the time but now it seems to be about any two people. That isn't a bad thing, I just don't like to write about myself heheh.
This poem is meant to sound a little sad/regretful but at the same time thrilled about the unison.
