I could
I could wait out here all day,
For you to come home.
I could leave you a hundred messages,
Asking where you are.
I could.
I could forget you and,
Move on.
But I don't think I will,
I could though.
I could.
I could get all sad and,
Cry myself to sleep.
I won't but,
I could.
Oh I could.
I could wait out here all day,
For you to come home.
I could leave you a hundred messages,
Asking where you are.
I could.

- The only saving grace is the whole "I could" thing. To be fair, it isn't really my taste in poetry, I like "high" art, for lack of a better term. The fact you didn't dress it up with flowery words and mention text messaging is good. Its like someone is actually speaking. Its not really inspired though, the subject matter. So very many relationship poems to wade through.
