• Blood.

The warm red pulsating out of my wrist
See my blood fall over my lap
Twisting and writhing down my leg
    What a deadly trap
    The blood, its temporary
    There's only so much
It won't fill up the tub
My blood will stain it won't come out
Cause long before I'll be down and out
You know that blood is temporary
My soul slips out in silver streams
    Turning gold with my dreams
How could I let myself slip out this way?
To be covered in my briny blood
A life I took so willingly, I let go just as quickly
Why did I ever let this happen to me
Now I sit here on the ceiling
Watching my body be carted away
What a dumb thing to do to die this way
